My Go-to Banana and Cinnamon Gut-loving Breakfast Bowl *recipe*

One minute breakfasts are the way to go during the week, and this one has been my go-to over the summer months. It’s not only simple to prepare, but is packed with protein (from the collagen, yogurt and chia seeds), probiotics from the yogurt, prebiotics from the honey, and fibre from the banana and chia seeds; along with the Ceylon cinnamon to keep energy levels sustained until lunch.

In a nutshell, it tastes fab and will leave your tummy smiling :)

What you need:

3 x tbsp of organic full-fat natural yogurt with live cultures - (I use Yeo Valley)

1 x tsp of organic collagen (I use Ossa Organic)

1 x tbsp of soaked (overnight) chia seeds

1/2 tsp of raw local honey

1 x small banana

1 x tsp ground Ceylon cinnamon

1 x small handful of walnuts

In a bowl mix together the yogurt, collagen, chia seeds and honey. Top with sliced banana, and sprinkle with the cinnamon and walnuts.

Tip: make in a jar for the ultimate portable breakfast
