Make your own natural electrolyte drink

Hydration is a big topic - I can talk lots more about this, but for now, here’s a natural electrolyte drink which helps to re-establish the natural balance of minerals and electrolytes in the body after excessive sweating, high intensity workouts / endurance sports and loss of fluids from the body.

Making your own electrolyte drink is also super quick and easy, and avoids the need for any shop bought electrolyte drinks, many of which are full of artificial sugars, additives and colourings 👀

It’s also a lot cheaper to make your own in the long run. So benefits all around 🙌

What you need

1/2 fresh organic lemon

Pinch of sea salt or Himalayan salt

1/2 tsp of organic honey (or maple syrup)

500ml of filtered water

How to make it

Squeeze half a lemon into a large glass / mason jar, add the salt, honey and water - then stir until fully mixed.
