Nutrition is an important factor of health, but…

Nutrition is an important factor of health, but… it does not operate in isolation.

Wellbeing is multi-factorial, it is supported by many variables, and many are completely unique to us (i.e. our physiology, genetic make up), our internal environment (microbiome, past and present health conditions, medications etc) and the external environment (lifestyle, work, exposure to light etc). In addition, the body has an incredible ability to adapt to changing environments, but when it is not supported over the long-term that is when we can start to experience signs and symptoms.

When I talk about optimising our Nutrition and Wellbeing, I will always refer to the bigger picture, the many internal and external factors that impact us, as there are lots of things we can do to support our health, beyond just nutrition - many of them completely free and accessible 🙌 I always give simple, practical tips, so you can try different things to see what best supports you.

Nutrition is very on trend right now, which is great for many reasons, but let’s consider the many other ‘pieces to the wellness puzzle’, which can have just as big of an impact on our health and wellbeing. AND remember this will be different for everyone and is likely to change over time. We are all completely bio-individual, live unique lives, are at different life-stages and our environment is constantly changing.

I love all the nuances of the nutrition / wellness world and could talk for days on all of this given half the chance 🙃
