Roasted Smoky Chickpeas Recipe

Chickpeas for the win 🙌 - great for supporting hormones and gut-health

Recipe for roasted smoky spicy chickpeas below, along with their nutritional benefits

What you'll need:
🔸1 tin of drained chickpeas
🔸1/2 tsp dried oregano
🔸1/2 tsp hot smoked paprika 🌶 (I've used @bartingredients - but use a normal paprika if you don't want it too spicy 🔥)
🔸 A pinch of sea salt flakes @maldonsalt
🔸A pinch of black ground pepper
🔸 Drizzle of olive oil

How to make it:
🔸Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
🔸Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix until all the chickpeas are covered evenly.
🔸Spread out on a baking tray
🔸Put in the oven for 15 minutes. Shuffle the tray mid-way through cooking so that they roast evenly

To serve:
🔸Perfect as a snack or topping on salads, soups or hummus

⭐️For gut health: high in fibre to promote regular bowel movements, eliminate toxins and provide food for the microbiota
