Homemade Elderflower and Blackberry Gut Gummies *recipe*

Make your own gut gummies 😋🍬

Super quick to make, and they contain gelatine to support gut health. Gelatine is rich in essential amino acids and easily digestible. It promotes gut health, as well as healthy joints, hair, skin and nails.

What you’ll need

  • 300ml filtered water

  • 100ml elderflower cordial (recipe in a previous post) - adjust quantities of water to cordial, depending on the sweetness of the cordial

  • 2 tbs of gelatine (natural and organic)

  • Handful of blackberries

How to make it

1. Add the first three ingredients together in a pan and leave for 5 minutes so that the gelatine starts to dissolve.

2. Then place the pan on a hob on a low heat until it starts to steam (but not boil) for a few minutes; and stir so all the gelatine is dissolved.

3. Remove from the hob and pour into a glass / heatproof container which has blackberries in. Leave to cool and set for 2-3 hours.

4. Cut into cubes and enjoy 😋

These are great as a substitute for sugary snacks, especially for children.

I recommend always using a natural gelatine - organic and free from additives and other nasties (I use @ossaorganic).
