Kitchen Herbs

🌿Kitchen Herbs 🌿

One of the best (and often underrated) additions to any meal. They give a punch of flavour and colour to a simple dish. Plus, they are high in antioxidants and different nutrients which support health (e.g. parsley is effective for aiding digestion).

Some of my favourite herbs are:
🌱 Parsley - amazing with pasta, quinoa salads, white fish, potatoes
🌱 Mint - freshly chopped (or even dried) and added to natural yogurt for a quick tzatziki (plus cucumber and ground black pepper if you have them)
🌱 Basil - sprinkle over bolognese, pasta dishes, grilled aubergine, tomatoes and peppers
🌱 Rosemary - my go-to herb for roasted root veg / potatoes
🌱 Dill - possibly my all-time favourite 😋 (anyone else the same?) - delicious with creamy dishes, new potatoes or smoked salmon.

Kitchen herbs are also great, as you don't need a garden - just get a few potted plants from your local store / market and keep them on your window sill, ready to reach for when you're cooking. Or buy them dried and have fun experimenting with different flavours.

Either way - dried or fresh, they will add another dimension to your food! 🌱😀
